Terms of Service

By accessing or using Uplio (available at uplio.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform. These terms apply to all users, visitors, and others who access the service.

Uplio is an AI-powered career platform designed for students and job seekers in India. The platform provides: • Free tier: Resume upload, AI quality scoring, job feed browsing, and match percentage viewing • Pro plan (₹199/month): Up to 100 job applications per month, AI-powered improvement suggestions, and skills gap analysis Job listings on Uplio are sourced from third-party APIs including JSearch. Uplio does not directly employ or recruit candidates and is not responsible for the hiring decisions of third-party employers.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Uplio. By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. Accounts are created via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Uplio reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Pro plan subscriptions are priced at ₹199 per month (inclusive of applicable taxes). Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We accept UPI Autopay, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets. Subscriptions are valid for 30 days from the date of payment and grant 100 job application credits. Unused credits do not carry over to the next billing period. Auto-Renewal: By subscribing, you authorise Uplio to automatically charge ₹199 each month via Razorpay until you cancel. You will receive an email reminder before each renewal. Auto-renewal can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 24 hours of the initial purchase or any renewal charge, provided no application credits have been used in that billing period. To request a refund, email support@uplio.com with your Razorpay payment ID. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. We do not offer partial refunds.

You may cancel your Pro subscription auto-renewal at any time from your dashboard (Dashboard → Subscription → Cancel Auto-Renewal). Cancellation stops future charges immediately. You will continue to have Pro access until the end of the current paid billing period. Alternatively, email support@uplio.com and we will cancel within 1 business day.

You agree not to: • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent resume information • Attempt to circumvent or abuse the payment or application credit system • Scrape, copy, or redistribute job listings from the platform • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its systems • Impersonate any person or entity Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

All content on Uplio, including the brand name, logo, design, and software, is the property of Uplio and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this platform without express written permission. Your resume content remains your own property. By uploading it, you grant Uplio a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our services.

Uplio integrates with the following third-party services: • Supabase — for authentication and data storage • Groq / LLaMA — for AI resume analysis • JSearch (RapidAPI) — for job listings • Razorpay — for payment processing • Google OAuth — for user authentication Each of these services has its own terms and privacy policies. Uplio is not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.

Uplio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service. AI scores and job match percentages are indicative only and do not guarantee employment or interview success. We do not guarantee that job listings are current, accurate, or available.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Uplio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. We encourage users to first contact us at support@uplio.com to resolve disputes amicably.

Uplio reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
